I just want to shout out Gina for providing my friend and I an amazing experience. Unprompted, she stopped to compliment us, then when we had questions she was happy to help us. She even went the extra mile to let us take a poster for our most anticipated read of the year. This store was well stocked, even having books I haven’t been able to find elsewhere. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The seating areas throughout the store were both extremely comfortable and helpful when trying to narrow down our selections. Amazing experience, can’t wait to visit again.

One of the most well-known bookstores in Sydney. Its situated near Pitt Street Mall, so its a quick walk from QVB & Town Hall light rail stops. The bookstore has three levels: ground level with the kiosk & best sellers, the downstairs with childrens & educational books; and upstairs with lifestyle / hobby books and a cafe.

First time visit. Great atmosphere and beautiful interior. Two levels to browse through. Nicely placed chairs spread throughout. So many genres of books to look through. Large gift section too. I went straight to romance section and had fun browsing all the books! They had a side bookshelf for dark/ paranormal romance and a long bookshelf for contemporary romance. A wide range of book accessories and lights too. If you love books, you'll love this shop.

I had about 10 books on my to- buy- list and Dymocks have had them all 💛 One staff was very helpful, he seems to know all the books just glanced at the name (without checking on stock list) he got me all from different shelves, different topics in a blink. Brilliant 💛 …

Have been searching high and low for lesser known Stephen King books that I couldn’t locate anywhere (including Kinokuniya) and came across a gold mine at this store. They had stacks of books on the tables plus 2 or 3 shelves of only Stephen king books. I bought 4 that day and will definitely be going back in search of more once I have finished reading the pile I bought.

Great book store with cafe which does a good toasted sandwich and coffee. Over two stories this store has all your book needs covered. You can stay as long or short as you want and find your next read. There are staff notes at the shelves for inspiration and tips. Staff is also available to answer any questions, they are easily identifiable in their black aprons. Can't flaw this store, always worth a visit

The best Dymocks in Australia! Amazing staff, always fully stocked, multi-level , great gift section and can easily spend over an hour of your day here! Plus I got an absolute bargain today, $10 for a special edition Fourth Wing hardcover, thanks 🤩 I’m stoked with my purchase and will be back again when I’m next in Sydney. What a treat! 😍🙌📚

Lovely bookstore with an elegant interior and amazing selection. It was clean, well organized, and highlighted so many beautiful books for me to add to my TBR. I wish we had more time to explore. Make sure you allocate enough time to take it all in!
